The World Cyber Games (WCG), the leader in international video game competitions and festivals, has completed the group drawing for the WCG 2009 Grand Final and announced the results earlier this week in Seoul, Korea. Below is the group drawings for the eblacks.

Seven eblacks are set to take on the world in just 20 days; they will be competing in CounterStrike 1.6, TrackMania Nations Forever and Carom3D. Elite gamers from over 70 countries will compete in Chengdu, China from 11 - 15 Novemeber 2009.

One of the 4-man Gears of War team, Alain has been playing computer games since the age of 6. Alain and his teammates have won various online and LAN competitions for GoW, the biggest being the qualifier for WCG in 2007, getting to represent New Zealand in Seattle at the World Cyber Games Grand Final.

The venue for the 2007 World Cyber Games Grand Final was Qwest Field in Seattle, America.
